OMC Orthopaedic Clinic opens in new location
The Ozarks Medical Center Orthopaedic Clinic is now open at its new location at 1609 Porter Wagoner Boulevard in West Plains. The clinic was formerly located in the Highland Park Medical Complex on Kentucky Avenue.
The new clinic is part of the recently expanded orthopaedic service line at OMC, which includes access to orthopaedic care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“With the expanded services, it will be extremely beneficial to have a space devoted solely to orthopaedics,” said OMC President and CEO David Zechman. “We are thrilled that OMC will be able to fully support this region’s orthopaedics needs with compassionate, high-quality care.”
The medical staff at the OMC Orthopaedic Clinic includes David M. Denenny, MD, a board certified orthopedic surgeon with 30 years of experience; Dr. Jeremy Reed, a primary care physician specializing in sports medicine; and a third rotating orthopaedic physician, currently Dr. Joe Ozaki.
The staff of physicians will provide care for fractures; sports injuries; hip, knee and shoulder injuries; and will offer arthroscopic and total joint surgery. The clinic also offers onsite X-ray services and physical therapy services, with a fulltime licensed physical therapist from OMC Rehabilitation Services on staff.
The clinic is open 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. After-hours or emergency care is available at the OMC Urgent Care Clinic at 181 Kentucky Avenue or the OMC Emergency Room at 1100 Kentucky Avenue.
